Merry Christmas to all!

I hope you donated at least a single toy to Toys for Tots this holiday season. I’m happy to report the box at work was overflowing with toys for local children. Walking past that every day was an amazing feeling; knowing that a few dozen children opened those presents this morning is even a better one!

I was going to say this on a podcast, but there wasn’t much news or reason to cut another episode lately, so I’ll say it here:
Every holiday season is an excuse to do something we should do throughout the year. Pick up your phone and find a family member you haven’t spoken to in at least a few months and make the call. When everything else is gone, the fake friends, coworkers, neighbors, etc., the one thing you’ll bring with you for the balance of your life is that group of people that you call family. Show them you care and don’t even worry about the long period of inactivity. Just call.
